The road is paved with asphalt.
But here and there, a crack is seen...
And from these cracks, blades of grass protrude.
Having been drawn by the sun.

I, too, twist and wind my way...
through the maze of layers,
I am buried beneath.
Drawn and pushing toward the cracks...
Where the Light shines through.

I've been reading and enjoying your work much, uriah.

Please accept my tardy welcome to passions, and know that this one touched my heart especially, as my father had a habit of nurturing the wildflowers that grew in the cracks of concrete. (Go figger, eh?)

Much enjoyed.
