Speak to me
Let me know what I have missed
remind this soul of the past

Tell me with simple words
for my mind does not allow me to think
when words are complex

Say what you must even if it is meant to hurt
just forgive me when you are done
let me be humbled by each sentence

I beg to return as the lost prodigal son
better to re-enter as a servant to a loved one
then to be a king of the fools

I have made my mistakes
you have been proven right
let us end our battle

I am nothing without you
a empty vessel
floating away

I enjoyed this very much.
I hope your straightforward open-hearted honesty is well received.

You have realized a very strong truth ~ "better to re-enter as a servant to a loved one then to be a king of the fools"

~ May your "hope" come true, Dear Man In Blue!

Peace, Love, Light, & Harmony,
EA
