In a state of disrepair...

0 posted 2005-07-05 11:35 AM

I don’t know what to say.
I’m forbidden all my lies
Helped me mould them anyway.

It always was your eyes
That held me in your sway;
Held as all resistance dies

Sit for a time, lay a while, stay.
You co-wrote all my lies,
Now please let me pay.

I’ll pay your price,
Live your life twice.
You already cost me all
Of my walls.

I sifted names for a decade
Scribbled on my skin
In Indian ink

I lost my will
There is space
On my face
For you still..

"And the sun went down, and the stars came out far over the summer sea,
But never a moment ceased the fight of the one and the fifty-three."

Scribbled on my skin
In Indian ink"

This is a beautiful piece.

Poetry is beauty in words.

ah that can be a wonderful and dreadful feeling at the same time...

I enjoy how you express with words.
