indeed it can....there is a lot of wisdom within this....hugsss you

In your light I learn how to love
In your beauty how to make poems
You dance inside my chest where
no one sees you and that sight becomes this art

Much truth in these few words Sharon...
Well done, and I love the presentation.
Beautiful!
Hugs, Nancy

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

~ and that's a good thing since my wick is more than half-spent already! lol

I will continue to learn, laugh, live, and  love until my Light dies out (in this lifetime!)

Sharon, we're not waning! ~ We're waxing! lol

A wise and beautifully creative post!

Sharon's Philosophy for today

Well…I got to thinking, and yes blondes will do that sometimes that we are all somewhat like candles.  At first they are solid, firm, and stand tall when new, being unlit, unused, unwanted, under no one’s control.  Once handled, and put out to show, someone will light them to illuminate “their” space, but the candle begins to change.

Over time, the candle will "puddle,” having no specified shape, and eventually will dwindle away from lack of attention, care, or understanding of its care.  Then, this once solid item sits as a warm puddle wickless ready to take a new shape, and often it can be a very good one.  A candle like a human once re-melted and formed into a new shape can be a very good thing! see?  In other words, change can be a good thing or in remember to be nice to your candles even.

A note on re-cycling candles: - I save them all - when I have a huge bag I melt them again, and make new candles in a soup tin, or something, all you need see (just like humans) is a new wick!   I use a penny to glue the wick to to hold it straight, then toothpicks to keep it above the rim of the tin.  Scottish and Irish people are innovative when trying to save money.
