When the shadows part, if I look your way,
will I sense your presense, still?
Seems like ages gone, but, the funny part's
I've a felling that I will.

Where uncertainty used to cloud these thoughts,
for the moment it appears,
as if we've not lost any time at all
when the mist between us clears.

If you looked my way, would you see me now
in the light of this new day,
as my former self, as I picture you,
still unchanged in any way?

Like a spell that's cast, that has held its' charm,
are these visions we posess
merely dreams, or more, does it matter now?
For the truth is, I confess...

These are memories, either yours, or mine,
and as such their job's to taunt,
those who seek to find, and re-visit these,
all our old familiar haunts.

Oh my!  You have no idea how much I love this!
I've been doing so much daydreaming today
of days gone by and old friends and yes, lovers..
the day has flown by.
Thank you for this...it is very special to me.

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

this was like listening to a happy echo, rolling along on the sea, tickling the heart...and making me feel so blessed in knowing what you write of...

how completely complete this present you've given someone....thank you for sharing.

Ahhhh memories... weird how the mind comes up with some completely forgotten ones at times uh?
A pleasure to read Doc, as always. (And for what it's worth... I'm better than ever. )

Ah, the memories haunt me still
Of the fantasies we penned,
Of the illusions we weaved,
And our crazed world of pretend.

As the icon shows
A ghost in the machine am I

Peace to you!
