sticky note sun
ruined the window
that used to have night

sneezed misty on the glass
and hangnail mooned by a decal
between the freedom of wide open

and the prison of closed
where only slender snake air
could come and go

but the sun burned her too
and left her breath
smelling like a cigar

in the no smoking zone
of this vanilla man's day dreams
that I got up early for

and now there are tricks to do
to pay the debt of my gambles
then those widows will hurry home

before their other half blinds
