No More

Since we've grown apart
I no longer
call you my sweetheart.
In fact,
I never call you at all,
why would I call,
what do you call a
woman that's gone.
Perhaps, no more.
For there would
be no more hugs,
be no more kisses,
no more nights spent together
in sweet midnight caresses.

Oh wow...the sting in that...

"what do you call a
woman that's gone."

Sorry...apologetic...lonely.

There is always a sadness left in the heart , when someone you loved drifts apart
