It’s nothing really It’s just sometimes When I walk away from the Earth’s core I find myself searching For a new piece of sunshine Inside of me Not much It’s just sometimes Much of what I deem perfection Ends up disappointing me in some way Just because it can No—nothing here It’s just sometimes Here is the last place I want to be Seeing as being here Just puts me in a class of Me Myself and… I need some help sometimes Oh—I’ve got nothing to say To say the least At least I can Breathe on my own Without needing the Salt of your mouth’s Oxygen machine Although the sugar from The tears I sweat Sometimes Drive me insane Does it bother you when I ask you Why you’d rather see the moon Than let the sun cascade upon your eyes? Does it bother you when I tell you That I’d rather have you deny me Then accept the mediocrity of Some six-year old beauty queen? It’s just sometimes You make me mad as hell! It’s just sometimes You don’t see the mess you’ve left me to ponder over It’s just sometimes I wish I’d never ever seen your perfect smile It’s just sometimes You’re too damn good to be true It’s just sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes I need you and You’d rather parade around this charade of Middle American happiness It’s just sometimes Sometimes Sometimes Sometimes You send me into a place of sadness That I cannot follow It’s just sometimes I forget that I’ve gotten over you It’s just that… It’s just that… Sometimes… Sometimes… It’s just that sometimes… It’s just that sometimes… It’s just sometimes It’s not fair! You can forget about me And probably have But I still have to live with your Lips And your smile And your eyes And your light Tattooed to the middle of my brain And your kiss And your touch And your sex All could have been good If it were to exist within me But it doesn’t And I have to live with that And I have to move on And I have to remember that you hurt me Not me hurting you All I did was allow you to walk away It’s just sometimes… No…no… Forget it… I don’t have anything to say… Just thinking out loud It’s just… It’s just that… It’s just that sometimes… Just… Never mind… Yv-Goddess of Her Domain. Thank you ever so much...sorry that I rambled...but sometimes it's the best therapy...and for some reason I was listening to a song...it's called "The Stupid Things" by this artist named Thicke...anyway I was listening to this and all the feelings I thought I had let go came to fruition...just needed to ramble and thought there was no better place to do it than Passions! (sigh) I absolutely agree that rambling is good therapy; it helps to understand yourself and reflect on things often when facing situations with others, for understanding yourself and where you're coming from makes greater sense of where you want to go and how you want to breathe! "It’s just sometimes I forget that I’ve gotten over you" ~ That line really popped out at me! Actually, the whole ding dang ramble from a restless heart reached out and grabbed my attention!
