Never close enough

You can't hear it
it makes no sound
yet if the heart
could break
you'd hear that
all around

It's simply, yet
painfully said as so:

Death By Silence

Tell me if you know

Do you know
that hearts break here
souls are trapped
trapped in within
that place
that no one can see
or hear

It's Death By Silence

No words are allowed
hell, even tears
can make noise
on quiet nights
like these

I have heard them
though the story
has it -
that it makes no
noise

Liars!

I heard each tear drop
squeezed from my eyes
roll down my face
salt on my lips
and then gather

at the bottom of
my chin,
then removed
by the back of my hand

Death By Silence
they say...

They never heard
the tears fall

The day you
walked away.

How do you tell when you're out of invisible ink?

You could not have written it more precise.
I know EXACTLY how this feels.

To others it may be silent, but to the one whose heart is breaking, the sound is that of shattering glass, and those tears drop like thunder...yes, I understand this...all too well.  I appreciated the beauty of this writing, and have it now in a special place.  Well done, my friend,  ~S~

Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life
