when you were a waterfall
you wondered of my eyes
and my mouth
and would I kneel to drink
or stand as a man tree
and savor your bathing

when you were a river's depths
you wondered of my hands
and my arms
and would I pull through you
with oaring conviction
or drift subtle in your currents

when you were the lake at dawn
you wondered of my mind
and my poetry
and would I dream of your horizon
or submerge my mentations
and penspeak your most hidden

to voice for you a watersong

this reminds me of a thought...oft I've pondered....if I were drowning, would he jump in and save me...I've only known men who couldn't...and now, I want one that would...
smiles...and thank you for this mornings sunrise....

What a beautiful watersong this is, DS!
The fluidity of your imagery refreshes both body and spirit.

your penspeak is as lovely as the cadence of the waves...
any woman would be lucky (and grateful) to have ner name written in the sand in this way.

Thank you clarity ... thank you frailty
Thank you consequence ...
Thank you ... thank you silence ...
