Saluting with misty eyes

0 posted 2006-01-05 12:54 PM

I sat by the window
Watching her walk
Into the lines of my past
As I fought the tears
Brought on by the memories
The touch of her hands
The warmth of her kiss
The taste of her skin
As we lay together
Making love under the stars
Until the night
Ever constant
Gave way until the morning sun
Causing me to awake
Look at the clock
Realizing once again
The dream of her
Is all that’s real

"...and as we drift along, I never fail to be astounded by the things we'll do for promises..."
Ronnie James Dio

Ringo,
That is some pretty short and sweet stuff.
I was takin back a little in the 3rd and 4th line and the ending is great!!
Keep it up!

This was different from you and its ok to keep the good things in your mind, you know better to let them guide you.

*smile*

I know this too.

It is going to be a much better year.
