where the wild flowers grow

Cup me
in your hands, turn me
into pure
warmth.

I am simple,
minds and riddles
and I am trying
to say
in words so ordinary..backwards
lifeless and cold...

I struggle
now,
under the weight
of loss.
I
weave
small weapons
into my heart,
I keep
you like
my rare
pinned insect.

You
must like
these honey coated lies,
for you tell them so well...

It's astounding that
you feed
without need,

only

to lessen me.

only to lessen me...?

it is though, the way we feel at the time of loss and you have so painfully asserted in this beautifully written poem, describing the tears, heartbreak and pain of it all...
one of many reason why I've chosen to remain single....and I love it.

Hugs to you...

You are anything but simple and deserve someone that will appreciate that..
