yesterday was a first time tomorrow
with a new shoe shirt shine
that made me feel dressed up
like the undressing kind

and knowing the price tag
how it was off for now
was just my skin before inking
and your shopping skills

how I hoped you knew the new
was what you always wanted
when you test drove the slow go
of my wheels in your spin

and that it wasn't just something
that got in your eye so temporary
that would be washed out soon
if you watched a sad movie

or noticed your name was there
tattoo'd on my suggestions
when I brought my wrists along
in my favorite basket of giving

already tied with pretty ribbons

sometimes discovery is such a pleasure
like a brick of caution
has been lifted from the back
of an ant
and it can run free
to explore it's artistic ventures

or a first time try of some new african coffee at coffee boy..

or a test drive of a v-12 benz

oh....what was the question ms sun? (grin)
