As you listen with your eyes
You undress my private thoughts
Hidden in wordly disguise

I am naked to be seen
So that every blemish
Is scrutinized on screen

Formulate your opinions
Then pin them on this donkey
A number in the minions

Now is the time to tear this down
Remove the pins that stupefy
On the floor in puzzling shreds
Every who, what, where, how and why

If you ever wonder why
I express myself this way
It’s because I will not cry

And no, I don’t seek pity
Or your feelings of remorse
It is just my empathy

As I dress myself again
And paste those shreds together
I finally find the when

Now is my time to leave behind
The pin-pricked ass tacked on your wall
My words in tears have all run dry
This party’s over...
Goodbye to all

When I got to the line (you know which one that I am referring to! lol) I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Okay, I'll admit it! I laughed! ~ The was so clever ~ yet sad.

Tomorrow is a Saturday Night, and as Pink sings, "Let's get the party started!"

When things get us down, there is always something coming around the corner that makes us glad we're still in the game of life.

God bless you!

JCP, this is one of your most powerful.  Love the ending.
