Listening to every heart

0 posted 2005-11-04 11:55 PM

What lies beneath the quiet?

That one could give voice
and let life live again,

what lies?

Here, beneath the quiet of now,
where truths were hushed,
and some dream was…

enhanced.  Just what lies
beneath the quiet?

Where skills of sequence, and sequins
were dreamed of;
where visions, but revisions
were made;
where love was a dream worth living,
and lives were a dream
just
laid.

Down into tracks of mystery
down into traces that ruin
down into shadows
forever…

spots on the face of some moon.

Here, where the quiet still lingers,
but the heart of a heart
goes on…

here, in the tempest of noon,
then in the spring of an august
long gone…

oh what lies beneath the quiet,
some strange departed love affair…

where shadows are brilliant in sunlight,
and sunlight…is no longer

there.

I love the sound of this, and...it seems you have answered your own question.

Secret memories in the heart surfacing and ebbing in silence.  It's a treat to read.

Here, beneath the quiet of now,
where truths were hushed,
and some dream was…

and still is, only more nurished, more mature...

enhanced.  Just what lies
beneath the quiet?

yes indeedy, tis true

Where skills of sequence, and sequins
were dreamed of;
where visions, but revisions
were made;
where love was a dream worth living,
and lives were a dream
just
laid.

as of destiny

Down into tracks of mystery
down into traces that ruin
down into shadows
forever…

but from those shodows spring forth new rejuvination, new understanding, new love
in the face of forgiveness...

spots on the face of some moon.

some moon that was at one time the greatness of both....

Here, where the quiet still lingers,
but the heart of a heart
goes on…

and indeed it will, stronger, wiser, fuller....

here, in the tempest of noon,
then in the spring of an august
long gone…

perhaps long gone, but indeed more refined, within

oh what lies beneath the quiet,
some strange departed love affair…

a love that you once believed in, and know now, your ability to love is far beyond any capicity you ever dreamed of...in your patience, and your ability of perception...growth....
where shadows are brilliant in sunlight,
and sunlight…is no longer

there.

  Oh she's there brilliant lady, she's there and always will be, more poignant then ever before, and even more beautiful....

Your a vision of truth, and all that is good, it is through imperfection we become....

Your a wonder!!!!

I can see how it is that you are a published author, you have such a wonderful lyrical way with words, even when you whisper. Excellent assonance in this piece.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
