Never Ending Love Stoy

That would be the one
in which me and my
sweetheart were together,
and we would hug and kiss
and laugh and sing
and we would love
one another forever.

There’s a simple sincere spirit in this
reminiscent of something a Japanese
border guard might have written
then after to be found in The Manyoshu

As such I would like to add it
to my file of poems by others
with your permission.
