My Anniversary Gift ( for Enchantress) |

~~~~~~~~~~ Once upon a time.. many a year ago An Enchantress married a Wizard She's my sister, so I should know. Now, the Wizard he was lonely Enchantress had lost her spark But their meeting, it was magic Love's light cast out the dark. Their home it is a castle Nestled on a quiet street Where fairies plant the garden Gnomes help to keep it neat. You may shake your head and chuckle But what I state is true Piano plays while night flowers bloom Stars come out as if on cue. Their abode is such a mystical place Children come to take a peek At teddy bears picnicing on the lawn While doves play hide and seek. She pens words of love's allure He waves a wand of trickery Both help our troubles disappear That's what magicians do you see. My anniversary gift is this poem Honouring their spellbound life For Enchantress and her husband The Wizard and his wife. ~~~~~~~~~~ . . Happy Anniversary Nancy Lee & John !!
