palm reading & clairvoyant workshops

inverted history, sips an urban sky
wearing stilts of flawless energy
redundancy amuses itself
in a kiosk of ingrown hairs, sacrificed &
foregone, unclaimed threats of visions
turning toward cannibalism
licking, rented tenderloins of ballads
naked feelings with meat prongs
mustering cries within the chill of death
counterparts, of a ceremonial sun
unfolding for, not for profit…

“so so daring” i think…this influx of silence
its essence wanders like perennials
beyond, demanding assertions, primal evil
gazes at protesting roots, unfolding garlic
declaring some secret text of recipes
turning pyramids into wrists of breath
wearing tax-deductible rhombus

oh, ode, to this substance abuse
tomorrow’s wannabe, toward self-government
defiles the medusa’s flaming ambiguity
and so i grasp the concrete, of collective horizons
thinking of dropping certain stitches to a resurrected
ice age sweater, I’m knitting…

leaving a subtle treasure of spores to resurrect
campfires, in the void of dimension’s glancing
both ways, before crossing over imagination

madness, is carried by Sunday morning failures, just
as prevalent,
to see inside ancient winds, gold braided
but
reality, takes swimming lessons were fools wait
in the empty ruins of electronic green, printing &
filling their Easter baskets with freon,
wiping the blood off of their statues…
just to keep liquid saintly, from seeping into reptilian
resistance.

What they don’t grasp with their hands
Is the manic laughter,
the foreclosing of every direction turned
gone, gone like life breath, within a density of seeds
seeds, that carry on a bit brash, but innovative…sometimes
spread across the slick wet face of evolution…
in their children’s children
and so forth
the legacy
good, and bad
carries…drum beats
tilting a slot machines market value

Sometimes, it is difficult to know what to say in reply to such depth of feeling and such excellent word use.  So, my mouth hangs open and I pick a favorite part and I hope you understand how much I admire you.

They don't grasp it with their minds, either.

What has been caught, however,
is our attention, at your attention,
to all that is around you.
