I time the leaves falling to the ground

the orange and crimson float beside the yellow and green

magic from the past , watch it unfold before you go

when the winds whisked us away to elsewhere

the lost feelings settle in at night

what card is next in my hand

a guess will bloom into truth

something in the stars

leads to sleep

resting in a frozen world

that will never thaw

Very nicely written piece leaving me with a lonely ache in my heart.

Great write.

Left me longing for something...eternity, perhaps.
