"Pain" made a home where I live.
"Lies" and "Deceit" stay right down the street.
"Misery" always stops by, she loves my company.
"Hate" walks over and must wave at me.

"Depression" lives right down the block.
Right next to "Remorse",
And the "Troubles" that won't stop.

"Regret" lives not too far from here.
Close to "Insanity" that often appears.
"Tiredness" keeps running me down,
Accompanied by "Sadness" who always frowns.

"Worry" keeps pulling out all of her hair,
because she hates living with "Despair".

"Overworked" prefers to sit in the shade,
Sharing a cocktail with "Underpaid".
You can see "Weary" carrying baggage quite a bit,
Because her significant other "Lazy" doesn't want to pick up the slack.

But "Me" I just sit back and take it all in.
Waiting for "Happiness" and her friend.

I think people reading this are just doing the usual scan to find something to say and move onto the next.

It is taking the fun and doing it very well.

In olden day the 'Flying Pickets' would probably have made a song of it and 'No.1' in the charts.
