The applications come rolling in
One on top of another
I try to keep up
Slowly I sigh though, why bother

I type and type some more
Still though in they pour
Just after I finished one, here comes one more
I want to finish it before I leave, but my fingers are too sore

My eyes are blurry
As I try to make out the letters on the screen
Though I do love this job
Some days it makes me want to scream

I just need some caffiene, I quickly tell myself
Out the door I go to get a Coke
Thank goodness I don't like tobacco
Or I'd probably need a smoke

So here it is another morning
Another Monday has found me
I'd like to just curl up in bed
But out the door I head to the University
