The first few
that make love
over summer's shadow,

do they dance with
or against the wind?

from the naked sky,
how do they land
with such precision,
when they fly
without wings?

Now this is very good.

With your permission, I would like
to include this in my WORD files
of poems by others.  If the answer
is yes, what name would you want
associated with it?

Again, very very good.

Awww, but they do have wings, Dear Goddess! ~ as do your poetic words. It is just that they are invisible to the human eye!

I love when you write of trees...
you always do them such justice.
another gem of pen from your leafy muse

Not yet grown mature
Shadowed by something above
Young leaves reached to touch

But knew no perfect landing spot,
'til off they flew, hand in hand.
