What is it that makes us all the people that we are?
What designates the happiness and measurement of scar?
What quells the rate of learning to a scale we understand?
What compensates the shortfalls that we carry in our hand?

Does everyday experience establish where we go?
Or does a capsule melt within to show the things we know?
Or does each found experience enlighten us to see
The reason why things happen, and just what is yet to be?

Too often we expect that change will chase us till we do
But I have found unless you look, you’ll never see what’s new
And chances taken show a way you never saw before
So ever lost the people now while searching more and more

What is it that makes us all the people that we are?
Is it what surrounds us all, the thought of mind afar?
Or friends and the surroundings that we share in everyday
Is it based on principals or blessing that we pray?

I think our seeds were seeded well, before the time of birth
And though we try, we cannot change what waits for us on earth
The genes of generations past have made us all as one
Who often wonder more what if and what if they'd have done.

and I think, the answer is yes to all your questions...many of which I've ponders to...
Magnificant and profound, as always
Morning Rick, thank you for these marvelous thoughts

Oh yes, I truly believe this! It's not I believe, how we can "change" our lives once on earth, but rather, how to honour our existance.
But, then again, if I think about it too long....I just get dizzy.
Great write once again Rick. hugs, Chris
