I walk about as questions fight
In argument of wrong and right
All fighting till they’re black and blue
And still I know not what to do

My battlefield is from a war
That wages now more than before
And as I try to run and hide
I find my questions take the ride

My questions are of selfish things
Of happiness, what future brings?
Of doing what I’d like to do
Of merely trying something new

But Mister always do what’s right
Never wins the selfish fight
For though there’s sadness in the air
Others breathe it everywhere

I walk about as questions fight
To then just sleep another night
Finding questions argue more
Than what they had the times before

And soon I’ll have to meet the call
Before I slip and take the fall
Doing what is right for me
And not the right that people see

For questions only argue when neither knows what’s right
And dreams may cloud reality that then can blind the sight
But we must all be true to self and let the seen stand back
Then we may find complacency that somehow we do lack

Rick
I raise my questions in a lot
Transfer them a flower pot
Watch them grow into a form
Compare them to what is norm.
Good write enjoyed.

Dear Lee, thank you for your reply my friend, sometimes we may think just too much of others and leave who awaits inside for too long, I think finding a core of happiness will hold the answers that I seek, but too often time is too short to find the answers. Great to see you here, have a great day.

Dear Seymour, thank you for your reply, always very nice to see you here, have a great day as well and take care.

Sincerely
Rick
