To Erase Memories

If there was a pill to take
to erase all of the memories
I have of you
I would take the whole bottle
just to be sure
none of those memories
would ever come back again
The ones that caused
me all of the pain
I have fought so hard
to get rid of

This broken heart, they say
will someday mend
It seems like the pain
will always stay
But, for now I work hard
just to stand strong
hoping that day
will come soon

I know the feeling Sue..it sort of comes and goes~~ depending on those memories.

and miss you too.. will try to catch you when I have more time.

Oh, Sue, I do so understand such feelings. ~ and guess what! My heart did mend! In fact, it's stronger than ever! ~ on all levels!

Dear Sue, yes sometimes the pain can be very persistent, but our life is made of all those experiences and as Linda says we have to look forward, knowing that our life does not end at the end of a love story.
