here the wind is, spoon-shaped:
she stirs the trees, she scoops the sea
and swift-flys the gulls, to infinity

she lashes her woes
sings her wild, the long-slow
groan of birth

here the wind, gathers the
rivers like birds, and flocks them
into an early spring-time migration

she messes my hair like vines
and sometimes.....

she is my friend

when her summer-time breath
greets me with the fragrance
of yellow
unfolding like a flower
and the voice of bells blossoming
in the distance

now and then, she makes me happy
and flaps my weeping dry
like clothes on the line, in spin
of merry-go-round.

Ooh Maree....this is delightful!
Filled to the brim with wonderful imagery.
It's so good to read you again..
may we ask for more..please?
Hugs pretty lady~

I wait now at the lake or walking by the bay
I wait and listen or put a seashell
to my ear and it all comes back
the wind's soft murmur..and you.

Maree,
Gotta say I really enjoyed this and could picture the wind working its magic on you. Lovely.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

The wind can make you high or low...the highs are wonderful!  Wonderfully descriptive poem!
