Hand On Hand

Velvet red, the leaves buy change
Foregoing satin green

And blossoms fair to fawn estrange
Such charms now sight unseen

The arrows once set straight and true
Make whistled reverie

And what I was, proceeds review
Akin such company

Fall soft the call of summer notes
Preparing primes as subtle floats

In solitude, his heart churns hot
Against my lips resplendent
