She who has been waiting
for her lover
    for desire of words
written on winds and sand

The arrival must be  certain
unfolding like a flower
in some lost  motion

Maybe the sky will keep you
from falling
having no say --
just walls and skin
&the smell
of tainted sheets

don't  keep the details
but know they exist

{all in different shades of yellow lines
and finer roads}

rather keep the clutter
of rain in your mind
            blue and empty
stuffed with false hope
and adoring means

~
Perhaps jaded
by your hands
until the light of morning
or the next flavor
settles upon your tongue

You're so vain
you probably think this
song is about you (CS)

Lovely this..
lovely you.
Beautiful new pic too!

Something tugs at me, I've no doubt of that.
Something from the sea, whichever one I'm near.
When I stray too far from beachland, it calls me back

I pictured many shades of yellow as I read ....

but mostly waves of blonde across the sky ....

the bloom of a yellow rose for the day.

nice write!

For some reason, I thought of a yellow rose blooming today when I came back to read this.
Don't ask where it came from, but I can't think of anything more beautiful than this and YOU.
