it's OK, Larry C
for I understand...
the road is short some days,
and the trail doesn't end
at my doorstep

it would have been fun
for a poetic rendezvous
with you,
and a few others on
this Oregon trail

but it is more important
at this point in time
for you to spend moments
with the spirit of Ms Ginger...

be at one with God's gifts,
for the treasures of Life and Love
are not to be taken for granted

enjoy the ride and the journey,
for each of us has our own pathway
to the stars and beyond

May the wind always be at your back,
so an old Irish saying goes

and I say
you are the epitome
of the heart and soul
of all of Passion's best.

Some of us in Oregon were hoping to get to meet Larry C this time around as he was riding through the Northwest, but life's schedules just don't always cooperate!

Anyway, we love you Larry C!

Well thank you Kacy and to each who responded. I rode the Road Star in the rain all the way. It just seemed appropriate and...there is no such thing as a bad day for a ride.

The tombstone is lovely and I left those floral store sunflowers. Just seemed appropriate and unique as was Ginger. God bless you all as he has richly blessed me. Peace.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
