I need to bathe in a deluge
of negative ions

~regenerate me, renew me, refresh me~

to wash away the sins of the day
(and mind you, I don't believe in sin)

split the air with a charge of forgiveness

whisper me away from the harsh notes of reality

I wish to wrap myself up
in a blanket
of negative ions

to be recharged

in a positive place of the heart and mind

so I seek a waterfall,

a tumbling stream of thoughts,

reaffirmation there is a positive

for each negative

It is imperative to detach, otherwise we can't cope rationally with the problems.

I think all of us can relate to your need to be recharged positively.

Your poem renders your mood perfectly well.
Great work!

Love,
Margherita

Oh Kacy - this is mine, can I have it?
Please?

It is beauty.

You should put this in the discussion thread.  It made me feel so so much at peace, it really did.

I needed this, its beautiful.

I just loved this poem! I have been looking into purchasing a 'negative ionizer' for myself! I am into little fountains and waterfalls in my home. I love the atmosphere before, during and after a rainfall. I used to live by the ocean and the negative charge there is unforgettable!

Negatives truly can be positive!

~ What a charge!

ok, Sue, you can keep it
because I'm counting on it to recycle, regenerate itself

and for Katrina's victims? SIGH
