Patience
was never
a
Virtue
when it
came to
YOU
My heart
always felt
cliche
when
curled up
in your
aura
My body
surrending
to your
star laced
kiss
Is it wrong
for me
Am I rebounding
my pain
when
I dream
of
YOU
You
did this to me
fed me
your sweet
honesty
when
he was
killing me softly...
You
did this to me
Answering my dreams
Now
I'm bathing
in cliches
My heart
doing a circus act
craving your attention
My composure
standoffish
I'm a walking contradiction
hungry for your affection
I'm on the edge
of this cliff
ready to fall
into
this unfolding celtic spread...

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

Patience expressed impatiently I would say, because there is a fantastic rhythm to this poem!

Great!

Love,

Do I ever know this feeling.

I'm a walking contradiction

Are you talkin' to me?

Are YOU . . . talkin'. . .  to me?

Areyoutalklintome?

(sorry having a deNiro moment)

Kris, I know and am sorry but man you were referring TO me in that line, right?
