Like a hole that’s split in two
And then fallen in by three

Like a void that never fills
While sinking in the sea

Like a stress-filled afternoon
Times infinity

Like an anxiety parade
That Marches over me

These feelings will not leave
I can’t show them the door
They take up all my space
But still they ask for more

Like a joy that can't be born
This fear will never die

Like tension in a rope
I can't exhale a sigh

Like yesterdays demands
Tomorrows won't pass by

Like feeling deep in ****
And never knowing why

These feelings will kill me
Now more than before
They took over my life
But still they ask for more

Like a million thoughts in one
Tangled up in blue

Like a man lost in himself
He has no where to turn to

Like a frightened grown-up child
Who cries a laugh for you

Like a bell for whom it tolls
Whose chime is overdue

There's nothing to be done
But to throw in the white towel
Then hear the call of "Checkmate"

... I'll answer that call now

"If this grand panaorama before me is what you call God... then God is not dead."

it really is like that, isn't it?
You described it so well.

When incompletion births your death...

Yeah, thats like being restless inside, drives one nuts sometimes.  But its not totally bad.

I like it.  It has a real flow and timing.  Nice.

The structure of this poem grabs the reader.
The lesson learned leaves the reader speechless.
Great write.

Tomorrow comes for those who fear it.
Today never ends for those who live it.

Yes, well said.  We've all, no doubt, walked that road at some time or other.
