i like to think
that feelings travel through dreams
when i'm laying in bed
crying
i like to think
you're dreaming of me
on the sea
and you don't know why
you see me
standing on a boat
with my eyes the colour of the sea
and then you move on

i like to think
that when i can't stop thinking of you
and i'm miserable
that you're dreaming of the rain
and we're just holding hands
till the sun sets
and you don't know why

i like to think
that when i dream of you
maybe
you're laying awake in bed
thinking of me
