Fat Americans

Some would say that communism
is a good thing, that a bowl
of rice a day is sufficient to
keep starvation away, and why
deprive oneself of the benefit
of exercise while wasting
expensive fuel in a car, when
on a bicycle or by foot you
can travel just as far.

So if communism is such a
wonderful way of life, "Why
is Kim Jung-Il the only fat
man in North Korea?"

This was based on a comment
made by a young South Korean
woman passing through a North
Korean guard post as she
was returning home.
It took South Korean
officials three days
to get her out of jail.
This was her comment,
"Why is Kim Jung-Il the only
fat man in North Korea?"

Sometimes it is worth the trouble to take the trouble to express one's self!

Intriguing departure from your wonderful poems of love.

Aloha hugs,
Linda

Thank you Copperbell, Sunshine and Earth Angel for the nice responses.
Yes, some take freedom of speech for granted...and don't forget freedom to eat...James
