feathered apparitions hover
in surround sound
as I listen in a self-imposed silence
to sacred sounds

wing beats

and far above the eyes they fly
in a sky's view attitude,
lifting the mind and soaring
opening a heart’s door

wing beats

and in the night they console
those who trust them;
I was never one to listen
or believe in this beat

wing beats

but in desperate moment I cried
for a guardian angel,
and the clouds parted to reveal
my own reflection...in heal

wing beats

now this reminded me of my birds . . .
they flock to the feeder and it gives me such peace of mind to just watch them.

I'm keeping this, it says wings in it, it's mine.  *grin*

and yes, you have always known yourself, Kacy.

I haven't known that experience for a very long time.

*pouting*

I believe all my guardian angels quit in disgust when I went through my twenties--all that overtime, yanno?

sigh and

yer lovely Kacy

I believe you've earned your wings this lifetime, too.

(er....need my address? )

Perhaps the flower I offer is old but it smells as sweet I am told.
