I had left
hopeful
that in this self chosen
seclusion
I would find
that peace of mind
that comes when one
separates
self
from the day to day
bump and grind
of this so called
humanity

It sickens me
and I.....

I wish    that
thought alone
could change
this senseless
insensitivity
to the attainment
of

peace

to find
a balance
between
yin and yang;

opposite sides
of the fence

different

yet, the same;

while they,
in their ignorance

continue the game.

I have walked these steps
this day
here,
in this sanctuary
of my home land;
here within
this sacred place
of my heart

seeking

a perfect moment
of tranquility
that for now
just can not be

but perhaps
finding
the better
parts of me.

yesterday is gone
tomorrow doesn't exist

Methinks
it is time
to just
drift

unplug

float

reality will bite
too soon...

so while you can?

Slip with peace

Oh, yes, I can relate to this and you write it so well.  One day there will be peace - it's the hope of life.

Even though I weave fantasy everyday in my book I find myself sick with the news of each day....there are beauties in the world in abundance but there are horrors to match the beauty with fewer to enjoy the beauty...My heart bleeds for this world of our...You write it perfectly...a ramble I can easily relate to....*big hugs*
