I lie in ruin

broken . . . shattered

scattered

across these amber spill sheets

like cooled glass . . .fractured
by the press of your blazing heat

this ecstasy— I can bear no more

“Cataclysmic”

you rock my world—
shifting my rifts until I come unglued
but mere pieces
fallen
from the whole
my fragile bare and exposed

sing to me now, my star shine love
in tender tenor tones
let your gentle cover my undone

gather my given
in your arms of strength
meld me into
the haven
of your warm embrace
and hold me

tightly . . . bound

until my seams redeem their splitting

soothe me with your soft love sighs
‘til the tears of our heaven dry from my eyes
and I return
to this earth I know

keep me
until once again
I become . . . whole

s.a.t.

If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . .

Susan~
This is as lovely a penning as I'll read this day~
There is a magical quality to this piece that simply sings me home~

susin..
this kind of fragile
with handles
just makes it dinner time
and I am famished now
come dance with me
mon amour

Sue, you are one helluva fine poetessa. Gosh, I am such a fan of your writing! I truly am!

This was downright beauteous! I read it out loud three times! It was lyrical and full of woman magic.

Loveya!
