It Wasn’t

It wasn’t in the month of May
But walking in the park one day
I watched the dewdrops catch lights flair
And disappear into the air

The air was pregnant with this gist
And forming there a rainbows mist
That spread its colors in an arc
And made an arch above the park

It turned the park to wonders awe
With floating fog upon the floor
And in the fog stood giant trees
With leaves that danced the slightest breeze

I swore I was in Eden’s land
Or even dreams of Samarkand
The vision was so pure to me
It’s all my eyes could read or see

And in the moment of the lend
I thought I reached my final end

Good morning, Mr. T.!

'Twould be a rapturous end, indeed! I wish that for all of us!

As per usual, I enjoyed your morning's poetic offering!

May we dream as sweet,
Until we, Our Maker, meet!

Loveya!

It does sound like Heaven, this place you describe.
How lovely it must be to have such dreams.
Time for tea?  Good...I'll pour.
~Morning hugs & tea, Nancy~

I think what it was,
is that you are not only taking time
to smell the roses, but paint the
rainbows, too...

You're such a treasure to us all, dear Sy!

you had me frightened for a minute there

I knew you were on this morning because I saw your reply to mine, but I couldn't find yours...

whew! I found it! I knew it was here! I would have been upset if it wasn't.

well, this brought to me a memory that is
confusing, me as child, hiding and singing i was strolling through the park one day, in the merry merry month of may.

oh well, always a pleasure to read your words, sir

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~
