I am flirtatious and I am shy I wonder if nesting birds grieve I hear sad songs on the wind I see fire in your loving eyes I want to keep that fire kindled I am flirtatious and I am shy I pretend to be forever young I feel a kinship with Peter Pan I touch fluttering fairy wings I worry about the earth's well-being I cry when the children suffer I am flirtatious and I am shy I understand that life is too short I say "live in the moment" I dream of peace in crayola colours I try to stay centered and calm I hope that mankind will be forgiven I am flirtatious and I am shy . . .
