I AM

Iam sweet and kind
I wonder when love will come
I hear a ticking clock
I see a wanting heart
I want to be loved for me
I am sweet and kind

I pretend to be in love
I feel love will come someday soon
I touch the sun
I worry love will never come
I cry because I feel so alone
I am sweet and kind

I understand love doesn't come quickly
I say if love comes my way so be it but if not it was not meant to be
I dream about having a husband and children
I try to let a guy see the real me
I hope one day mister right comes along
I am sweet and kind
