High and Dry I’ve been the land of high and dry And missed the taste of apple pie I also missed your waters reign And search again in lover’s lane It is puzzlement at best To put the time into a test And find the road a lonely one Where all is tried and all is done The search is hard to stay the rue And cook the proper barbeque To sew the proper field of green And make a Camelot the scene I search in dream my Guinevere She’s in my wile and ever near Yet senses of my scenery Lack the touch of greenery Perhaps the lack just lies in me And not horizons that I see |
