My Heaven On Earth

People say that heaven on earth cannot be found
That it does not exist
To me it does
It's different for everyone
But it's there

It is the place where you feel most at peace
Whether it be at the mall
At the gym
At school
Or even your own room
Just look around
And you'll find it

For me
My heaven on earth
Is none of these
My heaven on earth is found
On a rectangular field

Where the worries and stress of the days events
Have no power over me
It is a place I look forward to being
Every minute of the day
I look forward to that time
Nothing can harm me
No disturbance can touch me
I am at peace

In that moment,
It's just the ball and me
My team and I
That is all that matters
Not the fight I had with my brother
Not the fact that everyday
My soul withers more and more away
In this moment,
I am at peace

Even though this moment can only last so long
It helps take my worries away
So I can withstand just another day
Looking forward to the time
When I can be at peace again

back to the top with you....as this deserves to be read by all

You, are reading my mind...this past weekend, pondering the thought of "What is happiness"

we seem so quick to judge the actions of others...or deem them weird b/c of their selves...and yet, if we'd only remember, this is who they are, what they've known, how they were taught, they are indeed an expression of their parents...and in this we should to allow, instead of interferring and calling them strange....weird....
