Your open heart was the take on the matter
the things that strike insufferable
remain a brief novella in your history
the church got all of your mother's money and her body
leaving you broke with nothing left but lonely passion
the passion trapped in your genes
refined out of forgiveness
the same passion you would share with me in a world of lost art
the art of sincerity distinguished from unworthy passion
my mysterious search for wholesome love, drifted out of your windows, your lips, your breath, your very existence.......

the first time I looked at your glowing freckled face
I thought the freckles would be rough
to the touch
but you were so fresh and farm girl beautiful
that I just had to try,
had to somehow steal a stroke, a brush against your skin
and when I finally did
it was like touching the smooth open blossom of a lily
and then our first kiss
your lips were moist and full
felt like they had been softened
by a Godly sent sweet misty spring rain
as you gave yourself to me
without any apprehension
My insides pushed my heart into my throat
the magic that sometimes falls out of heaven
captured us for the duration
it was then I realized
passion without love was against the rules of conscience

oh how that kiss has never died
now that same kiss speaks your mind with love
and familiarity,
reminds me of your simple brilliance,
accompanied by your angel scent
and the treasure of a thousand smiles
you always give to me free
I gently break away and I have to tell you
everything is alright
you can take anything you want from me.

Eric, this is profound, a testament to the depth of soul, the writer's character.
A beautiful write.
