While singing songs with mermeids
Deep within the sea
The doctors cast their nets for
Simple, silly, me

While battling with martians
Far away in space
A doctor probes the surface
Of my head and face

As I capture Leprechauns
All across the lands
The doctors pin me down and
Clamp my feet and hands

While on a stage with demons
In my bathroom robe
A doctor flicks the switch to
Shock my "evil" lobe

While hiding with a turtle
In his private shell
The doctors wheel me into
My own padded cell

As I sip tea with Churchill
Back in World War II
A doctor tells another
What he now must do

While Sigmund reassures me
It is id, not I
The doctors all agree to
Ratify his lie

While witnessing how Alice
Grew to ten feet tall
A doctor fills my veins with
A dose of Demerol

And so, I face The Ripper's
Blade of sanity
Which steals my piece of mind through
A lobotomy

"I have gone away. The bed is cold and empty. Trees bend their boughs toward the earth. And nighttime birds float as black faces."

Welcome to passions.

If you step to the right, you'll join the line of previously lobotomized, which will spare you the anguish of being lobotomized twice, but will also decrease your medication dosage. (I know, I know, it was a toss up for me too. )

Enjoyed the 'debut'.

Thanks everyone for reading and replying.
And to those who have welcomed me back to Passions, like Dixie, I don't have the time now, but will expand my reply at a later time.

I appreciate it, everyone.

Welcome Home...

I keep a fragrance bottle my
muse gave me when I met him
in endless winter and he
settled me into remembering
who I am.

Interesting work
watch out for those doctors
they don't always have
your best interests
in mind. Looking forward
to more from you
