Last night I dreamt of buffalo
in peaceful graze on Kansas plains
They seemed to me, perhaps,
like clouds in peaceful graze
through Kansas skies
Then,
STAMPEDE
thundering hooves in crashing hell-bent charge
thrashing, crashing, flashing
drawing me into a destructive vortex
of nature's fury.

Well now, I saw that on t.v. many times, but never for "real" but I would bet this is darn close!

I got stuck in "Buffalo traffic" in Yellowstone... I surely was glad they didn't stampede that day.  LOL - Instead traffic was slowed to buffalo pace - cars & bison intermingled on the highway... A wondrous sight - thanks for the reminder, m'friend - I enjoyed your stampede muchly...

That storm of movement
was a good one, hey, Tim.

Wonder if the buffalos
are going to be stampeding
all summer?

wheww, a picture drew a thousand words, and this for me, was not only dramatic but very real...reminded me of the premier of INto the West, last week, when the Buffalo stampeded over the cliff....
or...that's what drama this one of yours sparked...

Enjoyed
