She broke my heart at Walmart
I cried all the way to Sears
Sobbing till my eyes were dry,
Bought some "Equate" tears.

Now my heart is empty,
So's my keg of beer,
A transplant wouldn't help my heart,
But the package store is near.

A case of beer for this case of blues,
May get me thru the day,
A two bit whore might help me too,
To pass these blues away.

I could call my buddy Balladeer,
And cry upon his shoulder,
And he could maybe fix me up
With a gal that's so much older.

He's got gals in his black book,
In order "A" to "Z"
And though I love my pets alot,
It's not 'erotic-ly"

So a temorary 'by-pass'
Will have to do for now,
My heart will mend in time I'm sure
'Deer can keep his cow.

Enjoyed the writing here
although I doubt you need any help,
especially not in writing.

I used this as inspiration.

I was dragging out my ice chest
And filling it with beer
Put Saffire on the boom box
In hopes that you could hear
But if you're looking in Deer's book
To soothe your desolation
Your blues may be incurable
For sweets... that's desperation!!!

LOL... If she doesn't appreciate you, then she's not worth it... so save those Equate tears, my friend... After all... if you play it right, they may help you convince your son to make the next beer run? *G*

Yoe, you know darn well you will never be lacking for love as long as Blow-Up Sue is around. We had her patched up over at the tire center at Sears after the last time you punctured her in a moment of overzealousness and they say she has a ten year warrantee this time, which will outlast any abilities you may have. Say the word and I'll get her back from LongJohn....

Boy if need of Deer’s black book
You’re really in some trouble.
I’m sending out a big S.O.S.
To get you beer on the double!

However I was thinking m’friend,
If you are digging down that deep,
Maybe switch the beer to champagne,
To snare a classy doll to keep?

Blow-up dolls are just for wussies,
I understand now, you’re a real man.
Think you can handle a real woman?
Then put down that darn smelly can!

You sweet man are a sight for these sore eyes.  Mauh!  Sending you welling wishes.

an older woman and a case of beer . . . sounds like a cure for what ails!

Michael must watch his cowlick and you must, evidently, control your ardor with Sue

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

This is a great day for a fine whine.  Think how it will mellow in a year.  Would you pour me another glass of your great good humor?

Enjoyed tremendously!
