I envy it - that cool quiet -
this -
the ordered sheltering
the tint denying laughter's mourn
as philosophers are born
(and slain)
as easily as us

fingers trace
too thoughtlessly
upon the spine

pages deign the yellowing
as Sophia cries again -
just a pause of entering
a bas-relief of life, we seek

unexpected choirings
angels joyous of the fall
nuns are singing worship dreams
Latin
is the bellows of

beads in count of love received
and fingers fly to soothe the dove
fluttering in constancy

beneath

beneath

the robes of trust

aching to be born of arch
of a woman on her back
fevered in the thrust.

I used to feel so happy when folks understood my stuff.

I confess that now, it sometimes makes me sad when ya'll do.

That means you KNOW.

and nod, I chose a mature metphor, but it seemed to be the only one that would do.

Thanks Kari, for understanding.

love ya lady

A wonderful write from you should NEVER surprise me because you have a voice in you that is beyond explanation.  I adore your muse, and your pen.  And?  Sometimes I don't know what you are talking about, but I read it anyway because?  I just love the part of you that makes it's way onto paper.

Love ya sista
