Beyond these walls a buffer zone extends as far as I can see.
Safe distance when the world is prone, and, strives to have its' way with me.
It gives one comfort just to know asylum's always close at hand.
Let problems work out as they may, not always as we would have planned.

That's not to say, here in repose, such trials we will not have to face,
just, windows open that were closed when given ample beathing space.
Un-clouded and un-cluttered, rise, this fortresses' far reaching views,
asylum, I would otherwise succumb, I feel as much is true.

On days the air the wearied breathe contains such crystal clarity,
the view atop asylums' walls converges on infinity.

Doc...I think I'd like a place like that, but I have a feeling that it's in your mind.  Much enjoyed!

Martie,
But of course m'dear, and, as an added benefit, the taxes are really low! Thanks.
Doc

Nakd,
Thanks. Sometimes, when "all about the Benjamins" seems way too intrusive, I like to have my little retreat. Glad you stopped by.
