Duet, with.....

One tiny amulet, one lock of hair
still touched with the scent
through all this time,
One feather, blue, some poems too;
many, then less, then few.

      If I....

A treasured place, a flower tree
seen once and then dreamed
through all this time,
moments of gold that made us new;
many, then less, then few.

     If you....

Are there love tokens yet to be found,
our spirits together
through all this time?
And times apart we’ll remember too;
many, then less, then few?

     When we....

I've known for a while that you were the best duet partner imaginable... Now you go and prove for all to see how thoroughly you carry any duet. *G*

For though you've left spaces, they're not empty... your verses are powerful enough those missing lines whisper in our ear... superb!

James, this brought to mind
a lovely garden I visited
a few months ago...

and like the pictures I took then,
this is perfect...

and a pleasure.

No, sunny lady~~ I do appreciate your feeling so, but it's not perfect, no, not at all. But that's how it is with such things, seems there's always one too few, or one too many~~ and sometimes it's hard to tell which.
