Blind friendship Is sitting in the chair next to me Like a consolation we all seek From loss, blurred vision Clouds draw veils While I listen to his footsteps Again The pain seemed like forever Every single collegian of time Night darkened on their eyelids Caressing infidelity Whispers in my bed Knowing they were a dream That I could have become lost in Hey, at least it’s “my” calling The outsides looking in at me! Now silence comes in might Drizzling immortal life… Selfish as it seems I’m on my own quest…walking in Shoes that fit I can communicate Insure my own damnation Omission is like a snuffed out candle Pouring balsamic vinegar into the wounds Conspiracy is dead Lost love is the only truth That touches won’t reach anymore It’s a new world, one that I’m not a member of Love’s labours, write a menu of HELP! Perhaps I’m the fool but.. It was all and always about sex What ever happened to making love? There’s a digital art beyond the physical I found myself in people finder reunited With somewhere…to where I’m going Hopefully a lot more compassionate And a lot less knowing |
